MEET OUR TEAM
For over 20 years, Jo Umberger has facilitated leaders’ and key employees’ making mission-critical changes to move their organizations toward their goals. The Umberger Change Method, which she pioneered, has led to many individuals’ documenting measurable results of dollars saved or earned. Jo has served clients from around the US and worked with clients' employees in Europe, Canada, and Mexico. As a part of her organizational development work, one of Jo's specialties is helping highly analytical thinkers communicate their tech-talk clearly and concisely to executive and financial decision-makers. Jo is a contributing author to two books.
Dr. Mike Armour is an executive development specialist who has been coaching and training leaders for over 30 years. He is also an award-winning author in the field of leadership. As an executive coach, executive mentor, keynote speaker, and organizational consultant, Mike draws on a lifetime of personal leadership experience. His far-ranging career has included service as a university dean, a college president, a Navy captain, the CIO of a national intelligence command, the CEO of an international non-profit, a Congressional candidate, and the senior minister for dynamic urban congregations.
Denis Burns has been a CPA for 25 years and is a frequent speaker on complicated financial and tax topics. Denis' experience directing tax practices, tax planning, Valuation, Litigation Support, and Merger and Acquisition gives him the highest credentials in understanding how business works. His ability to communicate that information in a practical manner to his organizational development and training clients is invaluable -- he is able to help clients understand how their work affects the bottom line of the corporation.
Trey Finley utilizes collaborative learning and coaching support as an essential part of training leaders to manage other leaders. His Subject Matter Expertise includes leadership skills, conflict management, and generational issues in the workplace. Trey's studies in philosophy, combined with professional coaching work with volunteer groups and entrepreneurs, have given him a unique insight into personal motivators. His passion to help people and his teaching and coaching abilities ensure that Trey’s will benefit from his insight, energy, analytical acumen, presentation skills, and trust-building qualities.
Carl Nielson is an individual and team effectiveness coach and management consultant. He combines extensive corporate experience in human capital management and organizational effectiveness to support his clients throughout the United States and Canada. He has held management positions with Frito-Lay and Union Texas Petroleum. Carl holds a BS in Organization/Industrial Psychology and is a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst and an IAC S-1 Certified Relationship Coach. Carl is also certified in many performance assessments including 360 performance tools, Tri-Metrix, DISC, PIAV, and ChangeWorks! ChangeGrid.
As a leadership development specialist and growth strategist, Walter Nusbaum serves executives, business people, athletes, and non-profit organizations. He has worked individually with executives from a wide spectrum of organizations including Microsoft, the Holly Corporation, Baylor Medical, Sandia National Laboratories, Merrill Lynch, and Lockheed Martin. Walter played competitive tennis at the collegiate level and has worked with people of all abilities to realize their potential and achieve their goals using many of the same principles that exist within high level competitive sports. Walter is a featured writer in Brilliant Magazine.
